Also, you'll probably want to buy a memory card, so you can transport the downloadable content from your friends Xbox's.

Yep, or just tote my XBox over there and let him enter his account on it, then remove it once I get the content.

No, its not settings, its actual additions or modifications to the game stored on the hard drive, such as weapons, vehicles and game modes. These have to be downloaded from the Microsoft or Bungie servers through Xbox Live.
If you dont have Xbox Live, then you'll have to use the memory card method, although they are very underused and harder to find than the usual memory card.

Well, im more or less certain its a fully-working copy, since it was leaked during the publishing process, and the developers had finished it over a month ago.

That may be true but think about this. The Sniper Rifle in that build has no recoil, yet Bungie said it would. Plus parts of it are in English and other parts are in French. I think it was during a time where they had the Dialogue finished, yet they had not implemented all the gameplay, thus that is why I think it is Delta.

If thats so, then thats good news. Im not sure how reliable the sources are for those pieces of evidence, but im really hoping thats the case.
But you know, im really liking the news on how they've balanced out the game now, it all sounds like its going to work for the better, despite the relegation of the pistol and the Health pack. people are ranting aout how this is going to be a "n00b" game thanks to the changes, but i think that this poses new ways of improving your Halo skills. There are now countless tactics you can employ to your advantage, such as the ability to destroy or explode the landscapes, dual wiedling combinations, and new boarding ability, which doesnt sound like its going to leave players at a limitation in strategy, like the original did.
